About this project

Roopa Vasudevan first went online at the age of 10 in 1994, and has been fascinated by the Internet ever since. This work mines her formative memories of the Internet as she experienced it in her adolescence and young adulthood, and contrasts it with the Internet of today. By looking to what we loved about the Internet of the past, she hopes we might be able to see better possibilities for its future.
